STARINDO CAPRICORN SHIPPING PTE LTD represents a group of companies specialising in various aspects of shipping, including tug and barge operation, time charter management, and shipbuilding.

Our shipyard, CAPRICORN CENTRAL SHIPBUILDING SDN BHD is conveniently located in the Industrial area of Sibu, Sarawak, a region reputed for quality shipbuilding. As Shipowner and Operator, we understand that in addition to usability, vessels need to be lasting and efficiently maintained. This is why we ensure that our tugboats are designed to be operationally efficient, and constructed using high quality materials approved by the relevant classification societies.

We own and operate our own fleet of Tugboats and Barges in various sizes, managed by our Operating Company PT. PELAYARAN JASA SAMUDERA SHIPPING (PJSS), with its headquarter in Pekanbaru, Sumatra Indonesia. Since its establishment in 2002, PJSS has grown to be one of the leading companies in Tug and Barge Transportation in Sumatra with an expanding fleet. Our active operational involvement range from materials handling for the Industrial Plants, Pulp and Paper Mills, to aggregate transportation for Quarries and Coal Mines in Indonesia.
